You need to change your working directory so it is in the heimdall folder. You can easily do this by right clicking an empty spot in the folder while holding your shift key, then about half-way down the menu, there will be an "Open Command Window Here" option which will put you in the right directory.

@ bassmadrigal, thanks for all you have done so far, someone adviced running cyanogenmode into it, will it not contradict the aokp that has been attempted into, although it has been reverse back to cwm, you know it only boots to galaxy tab samsung screen i cant asses the inside again, so is it possible to make use of external sd card for the cynogenmode proccess .Even though i can still see the constituents of internal sdcard when in cwm but i dont think i can download into it. Please i need your advice.

I am not familiar with AOKP, and I'm not sure why it wouldn't have flashed on your device, but you can still load CyanogenMod without a problem. Grab the right version for your device, and enable USB Mass Storage under the Mounts and Storage menu in recovery. Then copy the CM file and the correct gapps for your CM version (found at http://goo.im/gapps) and then go through the flashing procedure. Make sure you perform a Factory Reset/Data Wipe.

AOKP is just another ROM like CyanogenMod. AOKP offers many more options, but some of those options go directly against Android's Design Guidelines. While some of those features are loved by many users, the CM UI/UX team has specifically decided to follow those design guidelines. Both are installed the same way onto the phone, and both of them operate very similar (since they are both based of AOSP). The only major difference you would see when booting up is a different boot animation (CM's is a simple rotating circle, where AOKP's is an in-your-face pink unicorn with some animation going on).

Personally, AOKP seems to be a ROM that allows almost infinite customization of your device. It can be confusing or overwhelming at the beginning, but with all the options it tends to make up for it. CM has tried for the more subdued professional look and feel. All the options/features that CM adds are worked into existing menus under Settings, with the exception of the System and Theme menus. AOKP adds a massive menu called ROM Control (or toolbox or something along those lines) which contains almost all the modifications they allow. CM used to do this with CM7, but felt like they were doing too much and adding too many features (which can lead to bloat).

I've tried AOKP on my HOX, and it worked great, but I liked the more subdued style of CyanogenMod.

And after enabling USB Mass Storage, a new drive should show up on your computer (like a thumbdrive) and you just copy the files onto the device.

The assert failed status 7 error is usually because you are flashing the wrong version of CM for your device. Are you sure you don't have the P1000N, P1000L or the P1000C?

Well, if you open up the zip through Windows, and browse to META-INF/com/google/android and then open up the updater-script file in a text editor, remove the first line and then save the file back in the zip and try and install that one.

I just feel I need to mention this (if not for you, for anyone else who might read this). This removes the check that is put in place to verify your device is the one that the zip was designed to be installed on. Make sure you know it is the right version before you do this.
