Hi chaps, something really odd just happened. I was listening to the radio on my gti-9000 and the battery was pretty low, so eventually it died as it has done in previous occasions. I have plugged it in to the main just to realize it doesn't charge anymore. The empty battery icon appears on the phone but it won't charge (usually a green bar shows the charging progress). So I tried to switch it on but it doesn't go past the initial screen where it says the model and "cyanogenMod", it won't even get to the animation and then start again showing the model number and cyanogenMod. I have absolutely no idea what has happened, fact is I can neither charge it nor switch it on.
I have successfully installed cyanogenMod9 on it a few months ago, it has always worked and didn't show any sign of mulfunctioning at all. What should I do?

HI all, I am trying to force a mobile version of a site to display as desktop, and I have heard that you can do that by changing the options in the UAString option on the phone. I have typed about:debug on the browser and then looked for the UAstring option (apparently it is under setting http://wapreview.mobi/17457/) but I don't seem to be able to locate it, it's just not there. Does anybody know how to find it? thanko

HI there, I had a look on the forum but I haven't found anything. After the upgrade from 2.1 to 4.0.1 (CM9) I seem to have lost the camera flash. Is there anyway to get it to work?

HI quick question about external SD card on gt-i9000. There is something that confuses me a bit. This phone I assume has something like 6.2gb of internal memory that seems to be recognised as a sort of internal sd card. Today I have inserted another sd card, 1.8Gb. The phone recognizes it but when I move an app from phone to sd it goes onto the 6.2 gb one. Is there a way I can tell the phone to store stuff on the external one? I don't seem to have any option anywhere to do that.
I was planning to buy another sd card, a much bigger one for this phone something like 16 gb or above but I am not sure if that will be compatible with the phone.  Is there a way to find out? And because of what I have described above, maybe it isn't such a great idea?

Hi, I was wondering if anybody has published a sort of manual for cyanogenMod9 on gt-i9000. The reason why I am saying that is that it is significantly different from the original version (android 2.1) I had on there before flashing the rom, and I some important things seem to be missing like:
1)I assume I can use the phone as a router (as I could do with my old gt-i570) but I can't find the tethering andportable hotspot option anywhere
2)switching off the background data to save power? is there such a thing? Can't find it
3)Tracking the phone (this option was there when I had android 2.1 but I can't find it on 4.0.4)
4)CyanogenMod settings? Anywhere?
