Hope this is the right section.
Basically..why does Apollo order my artists like The Cranberries, The Black Eyed Peas and such on C, B etc instead of T?
This is totally illogic and i'm sure my ID3 tags are ok, even the "Composer" and "Album artist" ones. The artists names starting with "The" means they actually has it on the labels, on the cd's, on the websites and in the alphabet. This is upsetting me a lot, i can't find some of them because in every mp3 palyer, pc application(such as WinAmp, iTunes, WMP etc) they're under "The" but in Apollo i have to manually search around.
I didn't find an option to fix it, what should i do? Can you update it please or at least put both options? As is it now it's totally illogic, some band like "The Fratellis" wouldn't mean anything if it just was "Fratellis".
EDIT!
I forgot i didn't mean to say it's wrong or anything but following the logic it just shouldn't be this way. Can you put the double option please?

Galaxy Sii - Best Selling Android Device Not Supported Anymore?
14 March 2013 - 02:48 PM
Hi there guys, i'll go straight to the point.
I've started my adventure with the smartphones on my Galay S which i bout a year and something ago, without even turning it on with the stock firmware having a friend of mine install the old CM9 firt Nightly which performed so well i thought "i'll never have a phone without the CM!".
What's my problem?
I actually have two!
1) i want to upgrade my phone and long story short the S3 is too big for me, so i want the S II
2) i have to upgrade my friend's phone from the early CM 9 which is missing too many cool features at the moment
Did i search for the official releases and Nighties?
Yes i did! That's why i wonder: where's the CM10? And also, when will there be a stable CM 10.1 for the Galaxy S2?
LAST BUT MOST IMPORTANT: why is the development for the best Android selling phone ever so slow that it doesn't even seem supported anymore?
I know the answer for the frist question, kind of: the CM10 has been removed for some issues rending it unable to be called a "stable build" ..but i don't get why, why it was removed if it still was to a good point and if it's good to install it if my friend wants to upgrade her phone.
I don't know the answer to the other questions at all, so can someone tell me what's going on with this phone?
P.s. if someone follows MIUI too do you know if they're still supporting the S II and if they'll do it for a while still? I wanted to try it three months ago and my Galaxy S isn't supported since ages while the guys at CM still updates it even before the S2 and S3, which is awesome!
Fact is, as i said, i'll buy an S2 too but if there's so much toruble with the CM and i won't buy it.

10.1 Monthly - Lot Of Problems!
11 March 2013 - 12:31 PM
QUICK NOTE BEFORE I START! Whenever I install a ROM, even if it's a minor upgrade, i do a stock 2.3.6 reset and then flash the latest 2.3.6 European firmware BEFORE rooting on that version and installing anything else, so please don't tell me to do wipes, reboots and such because I do that in every single step whenever i change even from a Nightly to another, just to be sure everything's reset. That said..
..hi there guys!
I ran the first 10.1 monthly since when it came out until five days ago because after a week of usage working perfectly fine it started being so bad I could barely use my phone. I just had some music on it, three non-full pages of essential apps and nothing more.
The phone lagged, rebooted, was unusable and couldn't perform the most simple tasks. Oh, and the battery drain was terrible. Around four hours with calls and normal usage, getting to ten only if i slept for four hours.
After getting very upset with it i backed up my data on the pc and flashed the latest Monthly build, which is the third one.
Everything's working fine now, the batter drain is still awfully bad(and it wasn't like that on version 9, which was super, and 10, less good but way better) but actually MY MAIN PROBLEM IS ANOTHER!
When I had the first monthly running i couldn't change my notification and ringtone sounds because the ringtone didn't play if I used a custom mp3 and the notification worked fine..until both started not to sound even with the stock CM notifications!
I used to set them with ES File Explorer back than, but since i'm using Astro now I don't want to keep that app on only to change notification and ringtone.
WHAT AM I DOIN NOW? I'm actually putting the ringtone in the /sdcard/Ringtones forlder(which CM creates, or maybe it's JB proprietary folder) and the notifications in /sdcard/Notifications.
WHAT'S NOT WORKING? The Ringtone works fine, and it plays fine..but the notification sound doesn't display in the Audio menu! If i move it to the Ringtones folder though it displays BUT it doesn't play! It's a 2-seconds sound(the Super Mario coin effect) and is around 32kb, i don't quite get why it doesn't sound.
WHAT SHOULD I DO AND IN WHICH FOLDER SHOULD THESE FILES GO IN ORDER TO BE PLAYED PROPERLY? I'm kind of getting sick with all these problems just to change a stupid notification and ringtone sound, i know it's still a Monthly but i remember installing the first Nightly of the first version of CM9 without even trying the stock Android on my Galaxy S and it was so good and the battery lasted so well i never found a single bug on it! So what's up with these new, terrible releases?
I'm sure it's not me because i've flashed tons of ROMS and such doin a full wipe, flashing the stock firmware and everything every single time and i haven't had any problems like this.
P.s. another thing: I put my mp3's on the phone via the USB connector or AirDroid, but lately i've been moving some via Astro File Manager copying them from my Dropbox folder to the internal sdcard. I've noticed that it automatically copy them as "filename.mp3.m2a" so they don't display nor play. What's going on?

Cm10.1 Monthly Issues
25 January 2013 - 11:54 AM
Hi there guys!
Yesterday i've installed the new CM10.1 Monthly that should be the 22/01 one(italian date so dd/mm
).
I'm really liking this one, it's super smooth, everything's in there and there's a lot of new features like the new design of the alarm + the countdown and timer in the clock app, the redesigned notification bar with the ability to see the panel with that cool tiles etcetera.
I'm having one problem only: the volumes are SUPER LOW!
Not everywhere, just in some cases..for example when i call i hear the person lower(i was on a MIUI porting till yesterday, but i used CM for more than a year since like two months ago when i installed this MIUI for testing only). Also, when i tap or navigate menus the sound is super low, i try to put the volume at max but it's still pretty low anyway during menu-navigation and calling. During calls i can actually hear pretty well but i recalled it to be way higher.
Is it only me or it's actually the ROM?
I ALMOST FORGOT I HAVE ANOTHER QUESTION!
I'm using my phone to speak almost everyday with one person so i haven't managed to test it out well yet(as i said i re-installed it yesterday), but..the call quality isn't good as it used to be. It's not like it dropped from 9 to 4 but more like from 9 to 7. Again it may be the fact it's not a stable release, even if it's a really close one, or it may just be my modem/baseband..so i wonder: where can i check if i have the best CM-related modem/baseband for my country(Italy)?
Keep in mind that when i installed it i did the following:
1) check the modem/baseband in my JB-based MIUI(which was "I9000XXJVT")
2) reinstall the oldest possible official Gingerbread
3) updrage to the latest 2.3.6 european Gingerbread rooting it(the modem/baseband here was different from the one in pt.1)
4) install CM, check the modem baseband --> back to I9000XXJVT
I guess this is the standard modem/baseband for italian JB smartphones right? In this case, why do i feel the sound quality and signal(the phone one) dropped a bit?
P.s. still navigating the menus with the first low-volume issue and it's terrible. Hope someone has a fix to this, i can barely hear when i tapped or not and all the volumes are at max minus one to be sure i'm not stressing the speakers too much. This is affecting sms, menu and everything related with the navigation..it's like if i lost 80% of my hearing capabilities but then i turn the volume at max and BUM! it's already there and loud! Really strange to be honest.
