Try this:

Go to Settings > CyanogenMod Settings > Interface > Notification power widget

If you turn the first option on you will get the power toggles in the notification area. You can choose which toggles you want by scrolling to the bottom to Widget buttons. Here you will find a long list of stuff to pick from; one of these is Toggle 2G/3G. There are a few specific options at the bottom the last of which is Mobiledata auto 2G/3G; try turning that off.

I know this isn't a perfect solution but it should help you control the network settings more easily.

In Topic: [Q] New Version Of Cm For Wildfire

10 February 2013 - 01:11 PM

The HTC Wildfire will not me moving to later versions of CM beyond CM7. This is because to hardware just isn't there. Here is an article I found http://blog.gsmarena...dragon-devices/
You can always visit www.xda-developers.com and see whether someone else has tried to create their own version of CM9 and CM10 for the Wildfire but be wary of the "not working" list.

This forum is for the HTC Wildfire and not the HTC Wildfire S. The names are similar but the hardware is completely different so obviously nothing will work. For everything you need to know about development on your device visit: http://forum.xda-dev...play.php?f=1035

In Topic: Icons On 'lock' Screen

31 October 2012 - 11:53 AM

From your phone go to Settings > CyanogenMod settings > Lockscreen. There you will find all the settings you need and will be able to make any adjustments and changes. Delay and timeout is at the bottom of the list; that is where you change the Screen timeout delay.

I suggest you go through CyanogenMod settings and take a look at what you might like to change. A very handy feature is to have quick toggles (such as WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, sound and brightness) at the top of your notifications bar. You can choose which buttons you what and customise the setting of each one. Remember that when you press and hold the WiFi button, for example, you will enter the WiFi settings menu; the same applies for all other buttons. There are many other features that come with CyanogenMod so be sure to check them out.

In Topic: Cm 7.2 On Wildfire S

24 October 2012 - 07:51 PM

There is no official CyanogenMod for HTC Wildfire S so far. Trying to install the Wildfire CM on Wildfire S will most likely end badly. I suggest heading to http://forum.xda-developers.com/ and looking up your phone to find ROMs for your Wildfire S. You might find unofficial ports of CM7 and above but these are not guaranteed to be fully functional and stable. A popular every day ROM seems to be WildChild v3.3 however you will need to look things up yourself.
