I don't think that it has ever been said before that there wont be an official release of CM9 for Nexus one.

In February 2012 the cyanogen blog stated:

And now the most recent update (CyanogenMod June 12, 2012 post on Google+) is saying:

So, while the future is uncertain, one can still hope!   ;-)

Don't waste your time hoping and waiting for an official release as it's unlikely.

Like I mentioned before, there are already roms available , based on CM and with most of the hacks already figured out and more than sufficiently stable enough as a daily driver.

I'd love to see an official release, but in the meantime, evervolve/texasice's rom does the trick

i wish to hear something new about the N1 development proccess.

Its been said before that there wont be an official release of CM9 for Nexus one.

However, there have been ICS ROMs for the N1 available for some time now... look it up on XDA.

There's evervolve's texasice, which is the most up to date one, there's a MIUI ICS ROM too, there is another one based on CM9's code + texasices..... and they're all pretty stable (main prob is the video not working yet, but most other things are working fine)
