Update (15-02-11)
-- Finally managed to port over ClockworkMod recovery, now making the U8150 ROM Manager compatible
[snip]
Yea, looks a little messy, I'll try fix up the resolution/size when i get time
-- Also got CyanogenMod 7 Gingerbread compiled, up and running on the U8150, (
Currently its the first build iv done on the U8150
[snip]
A lot of things don't work (wifi, auto rotation, sound...), but am building up on fixing those, once I make a practically useable build, i'll post up the ROM for tryouts
NOTE: Yet to test out Gingerbread's performance on the U8150, (~ on making a CM6 (Froyo) port instead)
OMG! The last thing I was expecting was CM7 on the U8150; I thought I would be lucky if someone ported CM6 to this phone! I guess I have once again underestimated the power of the Internet and the fantastic developers on it.
Sign me up for the early beta testers list as soon as you get this usable (since, *gasp*, I actually need to use my phone as a phone [crazy idea, right?
BTW, n00b question
Anyway, keep up the great work! I'm really looking forward to your next update!
