I was able to finally figure out how to fix it
Just Flash this Package: https://www.file1.info/Tscys8J
This package is a custom Version of CWM, CWM for our device is only up to 6.0.2.7, this ports over 6.0.4.5

WARNING: This Version of CWM (maybe it's just CM11 in general) Has A bug where the only way you can install a .Zip is from the External SDcard!

Reason why I'd didn't work originally :
Clockwork mod recovery for the P5110 Was at version 6.0.2.7, CM11 isn't compatible with that recovery, so this updates it to 6.0.4.5

If it has worked for you, please post below, I would love to see how many people were able to fix it :3

If anyone's having issues, feel free to post below.

I have managed to get CM11 on my P5110, which is great. I did this by using the custom version of CWM v6.0.4.5 and the CM11 zip file located on the SD card, in its own folder.

Now when I use the updates option, in About tablet, to download and install a new CM11 nightly, I get an error in recovery (custom CWM v6.0.4.5), stating that:

E:failed to open /data/media/0/0/cmupdater/cm-11-20140114-NIGHTLY-p5110.zip (No such file or directory)
E:signature verification failed

I am guessing that if I move cm-11-20140114-NIGHTLY-p5110.zip to the SD card that it will work. [It did!]

Basically, p5110 users need a decent version of CWM that installs zips that are located anywhere, so it works with the inbuilt updater. Or the inbuilt updater needs to be able to save to external SD card.

Worked on both of my devices. I flashed the recovery via CWM recovery. Rebooted. And installed CM11. Thanks!

Hello!

I had the same "error7" problem and followed the steps from Zexion.

- downloaded the CWM package to External SD Card
- downloaded CM 11 to External SD Card
- downloaded gapps-kk-20140105 to External SD Card

- installed the CWM package from External SD Card
- reboot
- recovery
- wipe cache
- wipe dalvik cache
- installed CM 11 from External SD Card
- installed gapps-kk-20140105 from External SD Card

Then rebooted and everything works just fine and fast.

The only problem that I have is with the privacy adjustment. When I touch this option it just stops.
This problem has been fixed in the latest nightly.

Thanks for all the help!

I am having a problem with the "Google Search" feature as anytime I use search very shortly afterward I get "Google Search has stopped" and the program closes. Even if I click the search result and go to the web browser, it will close the browser as well. Anyone have a suggestion?

Ok, so this is what I did. Similar to the original poster.

First off, I was on 10.2 and did a bunch of dirty flashes. Originally I tried flashing cm 11 with official CWM 6.0.2.7. No dice... status error 7. So did some reading. found it's just too old of a recovery. Just did a quick google search of "p5110 cmw unofficial" which brought me to this web page...

Downloaded shakatu_recovery-clockwork-unofficial-6.0.4.5-p5110.zip
CWM unofficial: http://www.androidfi...212708291681713

Downloaded gapps for 4.4 from http://wiki.cyanogen...g/w/Google_Apps
gapps: http://itvends.com/g...0105-signed.zip

Then proceeded with the following steps:

1. Flashed unofficial CWM
2. Wiped cache/data/dalvik
3. Flashed CM-11-nightly...
4. Flashed gapps
5. Flashed openpdroid - not required but I like it
6. Rebooted and was good to go

NOTE: I heard that some unofficial cwm were having issues flashing from internal storage. I put all my flashable zips on my external SD.

Hopefully this helps someone out...

EDIT: Also used Titanium Backup to restore a bunch of user apps. Titanium stated the the su binary may cause an issue but it could work flawlessly (same warning with 10.2 but I didn't have any problems on that rom either). I haven't seen any issues with TBU. Just be sure not to flash any backed up system stuff and I think you will be ok.

EDIT2: The only issue I had so far was with Netflix that was restored via TBU. When quality would auto-adjust the picture would freeze. Uninstalled Netflix and reinstalled from the Play Store. Now Netflix works fine.

Yes I have installed the latest version of GAPPS. The problem seems to have been corrected somewhat in the latest nightly's, however on occasion, "Google search has stopped" occurs again and even sometimes after i do a voice search and the browser opens. Also, I'm not sure if I have a problem because I don't have multi-window option and only have two windows on front page. I don't know if that's in CM11. I just downloaded the Jan 20 update over WiFi so if I need to re-flash the whole thing I can.
