I have just tried to install the 6.0 on my nexus one. I am stuck in the boot up screen where it is spinning around. I have tried the recovery mode and restore and I cant do anything. Please help me

We need some more details:

what rom did you come from
did you do a full wipe BEFORE flashing CM6

throw this on your phone, use it to wipe your cache, phone memory, basically everything on the phone(including SD card if you have partitioned it). Then enable MS and load the rom CM6 RC3 onto your SD card, then disable MS and go to install zip from SD and shazam...you should be good to go.

I think he already has a custom recovery if he was able to flash CM6, and also don't flash rc3 use CM6 Stable.

I had the same problem .. because I didn't WIPE. What I did when I was stuck was the following:

1. Booted in Recovery
2. Restored my Nand Backup
3. Rebooted Again in Recovery
4. WIPED everything EXCEPT my SD (since I never partitioned it)
5. Installed both CM6 and gapps
6. Rebooted!

I was retarded,didn't think it through before and I didn't back ANYTHING up. I was able to boot from my Nand backup and then install a new ROM. I went with the stock 2.2.1 FRG83 from the ROM manager. I am weary now whether i want to try it again or just stay with the stock. Thanks for the help.

Hi, how did you fix it? I didnt back up, and now its stuck for me. i tried to take out battery but it just came to the same screen.. Help?

I think he did factory reset from recovery and reflashed, what rom did you come from? Did you do a full wipe then flash?

I forgot to wipe, and now im stuck.. i really need help, i just got my phone today..

how do you do factory reset when the screen is stuck at that bootup?

i just used a superoneclick to root it, and downloaded rom manager and clockwork.. had 2.1 android

You boot into recovery by holding vol down + power button, select recovery from that menu. Once in recovery you can do a factory wipe.

i now got problems with my wifi, it wont download apps from market.. how to fix that? : p

What's wrong with the wifi? Are you trying to restore apps from the market or just a regular download
