I've tried several sets of instructions from the web and none work.

This is the d2spr. Samsung model L710.

One significant issue is none of the codes to get into Diag mode don't seem to work.

Please...  Only comments on the Sprint version.

Thx

Note:  I'm referring to methods that don't require  reverting back to the stock ROM.

Sorry, no one with Sprint phones are willing to stick neck out to help. Have you tried Sprint's hotline 611, even with different ROM it may help? You might have already read this:

404 Not Found had this to say:
"I have a Sprint Galaxy S3 and I've had data issues since 9/30. I was running the 9/26 nightly which the LTE worked perfectly and while still running that same 9/26 build, the data just completely stopped working that Monday (or 9/30). I called 611 (Sprint's support number) and had them refresh my phone's connectivity over the phone. After the refresh, my 3g was working but I wasn't getting LTE. I updated to the latest nightly yesterday hoping the problem would be fixed but then my data completely stopped working again so I had to call 611 again for them to refresh my phone to get 3g. My last ditch effort is to go back to stock and try a PRL update to see if it works again and restore my CM10.2 backup to get it back how I had it"

I have the same problem you do I'm tired of asking for help I'm tired of always having some kind of issue with the CyanogenMod so I'm going to go back to stock sprint Ron even if its not 4.3 because at least it will work I used to like CyanogenMod analysis, kind of not really worth the aggravation if you know what I mean but uh I wish him well

go download today's experimental it will fix the issue I'm looking at mine right now and I have LTE no problem.I will try running CyanogenMod a little longer to see how long I keep the LTE if I can keep the LT I'll stay if not I've got to go back to stop let me know if this works for you it works for me 10 minutes ago and I'm still on LTE

http://get.cm/?devic...d2spr&type=test

install the top download flashing in recovery reboot and you have LTE and you will lose nothing

Please update. I've only found consistent success with 9/25/2013 build on LTE.

Pleas re-read the post.  I'm not talking about data service or LTE.  I'm talking about updating the .prl files.  If you don't know what this is, pleas don't answer some other random question.  Thanks.

Just installed 10/3/2013 - it has prl 25015... Hmmm. And initial tests from WiFi to data are good.

I believe I am having the same issue.
Some time between 2 pm and midnight yesterday (11/4), I lost the ability to make calls or send texts, and when rebooting my S3, got the message to activate my phone.
Running CM 10.1.2 I flashed to CM on 10/29.
Sprint online chat was trying to get me into the MSL menu with the ## codes but it wouldn't work.
Is reflashing back to stock to update the PRL really the only option? Because that will probably mean i stop using CM completely.

Sprint's proprietary data profile reset menu is ##72786#, did you try dialing that?

Along the same lines here is a guide for MSL

Are you able to call sprint support, from another phone maybe and have them update you? Otherwise, may have to revert back.

I talked to Sprint support via webchat. they were unable to help me.
I backed up my rom and reverted back to the stock ROM. Ran the activation and PRL update. Everything working.
Re-flashed to the backed up CM mod, everything is working now.
Doing that took less time than the whole chat conversation i had with Sprint. Still is pretty annoying, but not as difficult as could have been.  Hopefully it stays that way for a while.

This is not an acceptable process.  People will drop CM.

That's the hardest part of being on CM is that there is no way to update PRL & Profile. Having to flash back & forth is tedious.

I hear you. It used to be possible on older builds of CM10.1 but something changed, possibly in the USB code, that will not allow it to function anymore.

You can follow this thread on XDA for some hope: forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1626638

At present, as far as I know, the only available way to update your PRL is to revert to stock. Luckily doing so with backups in recovery is fairly easy and fast.
