is the current version of CM support HD video recording ?

because i'm using XPERIA X10 mini pro, and Sony Ericsson promised to update their firmware to Android 2.1 in Q3 or maybe Q4 and will support HD video.

but I think if CM have video recording, I'll be happy switch to CM immediatly

P.S. (sorry, my english is bad.. english isn't my native language :-)

Hi all,

I hope I don't start a topic that is already discussed.
I'm very familiar with linux but on android I'm kind of a complete n00b.
The Thing is:
I like the x10 mini pro very much, but not really the stock rom from SE.
I also use the LiveView, which is kind of known to work pretty well on other Android-Smartphones with CM.

So my Questions are:
How do I backup the stock ROM (just in case something goes wrong)?
Is there a Version of CyanogenMod for the X10 mini pro? (or something like a "Universal"-Rom)

Thank You!

Kind Regards
Daniel

I'm not sure, but the problem is that cyanogen based on android 2.2, which is (at the moment) not compatible to the x10 mini pro.

It does through third-party apps like video illusion. but not in full hd like in the native recorder.

I have the SonyEricsson Xperia X10A running Cyanogenmod 6.1.1 and wanted to know, 'is there/will there be' a fix for recording video using the highest resolution or will another video capturing program work?  The app 'barcode scanner' does not function but there is no "scrambling" effect using low resolution so recording video does indeed work.  This mod will stay on my phone indefinitely, no doubt.  If anyone from the team who created this mod is reading this, superb job!  How do I donate?  Used to hate my phone with a passion but now I can't put it down!  Wow, just wow...

Hi, I'm a X10 Mini Pro user, I'm currently with CM7 (http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=1201116), a pretty good rom ;)
But, with every rom I've tested, i've the same bug... first the touch screen is unresponsive at the bottom (or at least less responsive, like the corners I think too), second, with the softkeyboard in the symbols panel, when you slide it til the bottom or too high, it suddenly freeze. I still can use the other panels, but this one become unusable at all.

It would be great if a dev from the CM team could take a look at the screen driver :)

Thanks you in advance ;)

Are there any good roms / ports for the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 pro (u20i)? I'm looking in the wiki and there are only for the non pro version.

Thanks in advance

Can anybody suggest if a career locked (O2) SE Xperia X10 Mini Pro can be unlocked though rooting/by installing latest build of Cyanogen MOD?

I don't think you can unlock a phone by flashing another rom onto it.

Carrier unlocking and rooting are separate processes. Simply rooting your phone and flashing CyanogenMod will not get you carrier unlock. You'll probably have to google that process.

I want to have xperia mini pro's rom on my x10 mini pro. Is it possible to find that rom for my x10 mini pro?
Also Someone could post a link for the video of CM7 running on x10 mini pro. The one I found on youtube was very unclear and not deep enough

Thanks
