LG L5 bootloader is still locked...
so you won't get any CyanogenMod and even CWM for this device

Not anymore...
Today a hack for unlocking bootloader was released on the russian forum 4pda.ru
http://4pda.ru/forum....#entry19586583
Translation:
That done, say thank you for it payback

Thanks to him, now we have the ability to set custom kernel rekaveri and firmware.

All of the following do you do at your own risk, so think twice have it or not, and carefully enter all commands, typo can cost lives phone.

Actually, the instruction:

1. Need firmware with root. Alternatively, from my hat.
2. Downloading from Market Android Terminal Emulator ..
3. Download the attached file and throw it on the phone's internal memory (/ sdcard) emmc_appsboot.rar (139.13 KB) Number of downloads: 2
4. Run our program and enter the following commands in sequence, there are only three, after each press Enter:

su
dd if = / sdcard / emmc_appsboot.bin of = / dev/block/mmcblk0p5
reboot

And here is the link for emmc_appsboot.rar

Yes, but first step is having ClockWorkMod Recovery, a custom recovery that makes backup/install custom roms much easier, but of course CM as other custom roms are possible.

Is there anyone that can build CWM for our LG Optimus L5 (E610)? We can provide with original firmwares and files from the phone.

Yes, now we have a working CWM for L5
http://forum.xda-dev...&postcount=1183

I tried porting CM9 from LG Optimus L3 but the rom doesn't boot
The problem is i can't port META-INF folder, because i don't have one from L5 (kdz archives used for flashing with LG tool doesn't contain it)

Someone can tell me where i can get a META-INF folder or how can i do to build one?
or at least help me with CM9 porting
