Hmm I tried to install and use some of the daydream clock alternatives but they too suffer from this problem, sadly :(

Is there anybody who does not have this issue on the Samsung Galaxy SII?

I have this issue even with the latest nightly. I am wondering why they haven't fixed this so far.

All have this issue, according to the bug list, it was removed from this list today, so the next nigthly should fix this, hopefully.

Please keep in mind, that nightlies are nightlies and not stable releases, so bugs will be fixed, when the devs have time for it, not bug reports etc.

So, use the nighlies and relax or go to stable :D
