I've been lurking around for months, waiting for a Stable version of CM9 to toss on my Touchpad. Since that's never going to happen, I figured I'd call this close enough and try to get myself set up.
Unfortunately, I can't install the drivers. The SDK hangs on install - so does the Novacom installer. I tried to download WebOS Doctor, but all of those links are dead now and I can't find any mirrors. Essentially, I can't find anywhere to get the drivers that will actually WORK.
I know that Java is up to date and the correct version.
Does anyone know where I could look? Or have a personal backup of WebOS Doctor for 3.0.5 or something? This isn't my first rodeo, I'm not having trouble following instructions. I just can't get the sneaky driver installed.
Win 7 64-Bit
WiFi-Only TP, 3.0.5
Thanks in advance if anyone can help me find these drivers or diagnose my hanging issue!

I had the same issue with the drivers (Win7 x86)
Finally found a working WebOS Dr link. No clue from where, but keep looking.

The servers that the SDK and Universal Novacom Install get the files from are down. PM me and I'll send you a link to a download that has everything you need in it.

You can get novacom drivers here just scroll down they are near the bottom of the page
http://opensource.pa...m/packages.html
And webosdoctor here click on show download links which is the third one down
http://en.m.webos-in...Redirected=true
I hope this helps, if not I have other links just let me know.

Download the one you need 32 or 64 bit it is a zip file open it and you will see it contains a windows novacom installer and an hp license agreement ,nothing sinister. All you do is run the windows installer and it will install the novacom drivers for you which you will then be able find in c/program files/Palm, Inc .
I hope this helps.

Thanks, that is exactly what anyone including myself needed. I tested it and worked perfectly. I've heard there is a version that someone created that contains both 32 and 64 bit drivers. It auto detects whether you have 32 or 64 bit Windows and installs the appropriate drivers. When I find the link, I'll post it here.

There are both versions up there 32 and 64 bit . If you have any copy of webosdocter they are both in there . When you run the normal novacom installer it comes up with a new window select the second option and then point it to wherever you have your webosdoctor jar file and it will select and install the appropriate one .
Can you do me a favour if you have access to a Mac which I don't. Download and test the mac installer ?
Thanks
