In my previous topic, I had an issue with cwm recovery not booting through fastboot.
I worked around this problem by installing a separate version of cwm onto the phone and using that.
Took a backup, cleared the data, cache, etc.

Now here's the problem.

When I get to the part of installing cm7.2.zip from the sdcard, the installation fails.

It gives me the following error message: (status 7) Installation aborted.

What does this mean and how do I get the installing to work? I even tried using cm7.1.0.2 (stable release), but encountered the same problem.

Please help.

p.s. I don't mean to spam. I'm just new to this whole android business (rooting, flashing, etc.).
