Can I Flash Newer Nightly Version Over Older ?

Can I flash one Nightly version over another WITHOUT having to reinstall all my apps?
Does flashing the newer version preserves my settings from the old(things like ringtone, ringtoneVolume, brightness, lockscreenSettiings, etc)?

Yes, you can apply a new CM9 nightly without any loss, just with recovery mode > install zip.

Just make sure you don't select wipe user data etc when you do.
