I have installed the CM 9.0 RC2 on my Xperia mini pro today. I have followed the instructions on CyanogenMod wiki (unlocked my bootloader, flashed the kernel, flashed the ROM and finally flashed the GApps). But the phone failed to start. It says: "Unfortunately, setup guide stopped working.". I pressed the OK button hundred times, but nothing happened, the dialog box kept coming. I tried rebooting the phone, but no luck. Could anyone please help me?

We have the same errors... I think there are a bug inside the ROM. Fix it please!

I encountered the same issue with CM9 RC2 on my XPERIA PRO. After much trial and error I was able to get it to work by using an older kernel from the FreeXPERIA project instead of the one supplied with RC2. I used the kernel from the FXP126 build.
Maybe that solution will work for the Mini Pro as well.

Can you type the kernel here? Thanks

You can download the FXP126 roms here: http://uploaded.to/folder/qgbp8a
The kernel is inside the zip (boot.img).

Hi, I have this same problem.
In link from mrks I don't see version for sk17i (XPERIA mini pro). Can I use version for other model?
EDIT:
That don't works. Must be version for sk17i.

I had not seen that there is no version for the mini pro in the link that I gave you earlier.
Perhaps the FXP127 build will work? There is a mango version there:

Same problem here!
First tried WITH gapps. Got the message that installation the installation wizzard stopped working.
Then tried to do it WITHOUT gapps. Got the the message that Trebuchet stopped working.
I get both messages at the beginning of boot. I tried both RC2 as RC1. Both of them don't work either...
I've got an Xperia Arc.

I can confirm this bug too. The workaround fixed it for me too. To let me give you a short list of what I did (It's nothing that isn't already in this thread. But I thought it would be nice to have it in one place and a bit more precise.)
1. Download FXP127 mango here: http://uploaded.to/f...r5z/from/mwtt6p
2. Extract the file and replace the boot.img from the original CM-9.0-RC2 with the one in this file.
3. Flash the new boot.img to the device as described in the wiki.
4. Proceed with the installation as described in the wiki.

I'm not sure if the extracted boot-images from above are the same as this, but this http://uploaded.to/folder/cfx9i4 work, too.

Same bug here, and solved with the FXP 130 kernel.
I'm so happy the HW Keyboard is configurable (in AZERTY mode) within the ROM in the settings, and not with an ugly copy of a file taken from stock ROM (even if the device reboot immediately without warning) with a proper SYM and Blue key behavior, and Backlighted !
Bravo !
The only bug I found for now is in trebuchet launcher : When an app is installing a shortcut on the home screen, if you try to modify (move or delete) a shortcut at the same time, the launcher fail and restart.
Bravo again !
Ghuntar.

I used boot.img from FXP126, apps are working now. Problem was all apps stopped unexpectedly (I was able to try Trebuchet, Nova Launcher and Apollo). I am using Coconut (wt19i)...thank you very much!
