Hi,

i'm using the cm9 nighlys on  

my Galaxy S i9000 (currently the latest cm-9-20120717-NIGHTLY-galaxysmtd.zip; not updating every day) and wonder if someone else had this problem i get from time to time (it's not very often, 4,5 times a week):

The Phone is looked and the screen is off. When i press on power button to unlock the phone and do something, from time to time the screen remains off and nothing happens. The only chance to get my phone "back to work" is to loong hold the power button to restart the phone. When the screen remains off, i don't get any haptical feedback when i touch on the screen (that i should get when the problem is only the brightness), it feels like the screen is off and nothing can toggle on the screen.

Is this problem a known issue?

If not, what can i do to get more information for investigating the problem and possibly find the bug to post a bug request (and a patch)?

Hi mseele,

this problem always occurred to me (also with the Samsung official firmware). It occurs once a month or so (less frequently than you report). And I never found the cause of this (maybe some bad written app?).

Btw, how do you find the 0717 nightly rom? Are there significant bugs? I am still running a 20120412 nightly (one of the first release), and no bugs found up to now!

The 0717 is good. I found no significant bugs until now...
