I just flashed CM7 for the first time, I absolutely hate the calendar (I can't set it to default display monthly view!) and dialer (takes more presses to do the same thing).
Does anyone know where/how I can install the stock gingerbread dialer / calendar widget?

The stock calendar widget (if you're talking about the Sense widget) won't be available unless you go through a custom launcher. I believe that Launcher Pro has widgets that are similar to the HTC/Sense widgets. I think it's the same story with the Sense dialer; however, the latest revisions of CM 7.2 add the "quick dial" functionality that the Sense dialer has.
