Hi folks, first post here and of course it is a n00b one.

I accidentally deleted the camera.apk while removing bloatware, now I can't record videos. And no, I don't have it backed up.

Where can I get the original apk and how do I re-install it?

Thanks

I re-downloaded the CM7 rom and extracted camera.apk, then I used Root explorer to put it in system/app folder and changed the permissions as follows:

Read: Tick boxes of Owner, Group and Others

Write: Tick Owner only.

Execute: None.

Some "experts" recommended I flash my phone.

So basically if anyone has deleted a stock app by accident, get it from the CM7 original zip. Don't flash or reset to factory settings.
