Hi!
I am experiencing some problems when I try to install cyanogenmod on my Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini. I have followed the official instructional and all has gone well until it is time to give the command:
fastboot -i 0xfce flash boot boot.img
I am using the command prompt of windows and after I given this command it responds with <error: cannot load 'boot.img'>
I have extracted the boot.img file from the update-cm-7.1.0.2-XperiaMini-ST15i-signed.zip archive and put it in the platform-tools folder as the wiki says and where fastboot is located too. Why cant fastboot find it?
Secondly some parts of the instructions made me a little unsure whether I had done right.
1. is it really the .zip file that should be put in the SD card, should i not extract the archive first?
2. you refer to the .zip archive as update.zip, should i rename update-cm-7.1.0.2-XperiaMini-ST15i-signed.zip to update.zip for the phone to find it?
3. when I read the specific instructions for fastboot in your wiki it says that fastboot should be in the tools, not platform-tools folder. Can this be the cause of my problems.
4. in the new version (7.2) of cyanogenmod I could not find a boot.img. has this changed in some way?
Regards
Magnus Andersson

Hi!
okey, after some own dinging I have found that the only problem was that you need to be standing in platform-tools directory when you run the fastboot command.
Everything worked fine but my phone got stuck in a restart loop of some kind after the installation. I therefore changed to the 7.2 version of cyanogenmod and now the phone starts properly and I can operate it.
However I can not make calls from the phone because it all of a sudden asks for some "network unlock PIN". How do I get past this? I thought you only got that if the phone was locked to a specific operator and you put in the wrong sim-card, but I am using a sim-card that worked before.
