So I've followed the google doc "How to Build/Install CyanogenMod 9 (Ice Cream Sandwich) from source for HP TouchPad (“tenderloin”)" and the companion "Barnes & Noble Nook Color: Compile CyanogenMod (Linux)" on the wiki and found the "By default, CyanogenMod 9 only syncs the core android repositories and none of the device or kernel trees" comment in the "Galaxy Nexus (GSM): Compile CyanogenMod 9 (Linux)" wiki page

So I ran ". build/envsetup.sh && brunch tenderloin" - This built the devices/hp/tenderloin content and launched into a build which resulted in:

I figured it might be because I had not run extract-files.sh and setup-makefiles.sh so I ran it and got:

I then ran setup-makefiles.sh, but the build errors persist

Any ideas?

[EDIT] Turned out to be corrupt local git repositories. My fileserver went wonky during the repo sync and it left two of the projects in a fubar state. Deleting the offending projects and doing another 'repo sync' fixed the problem.

I have now successfully build a ROM for my TouchPad from scratch :)

Many thanks to jscullins for his assistance

I had a look at the repo manifest and the CyanogenMod repository on github and the 'external/clang' issue became obvious - I had a corrupted git repo that didn't want to checkout all the files - Deleting it and resyncing fixed that

The 'find: xxx: No such file or directory' issues are a little trickier. Going be the manifest and github, it looks like these files are external to CyanogenMod (part of the build pre-requisites). So maybe I have a path issue or missing pre-req
