Htc Market App Error

hi everyone i was wondering if you could help me, whenever i download games from the market i click on them and it comes up searching for updates please wait.After that it goes straight to application error [the connection to the server was unsuccessful] then the app address. i have googled it and it says something about runtime timed out but i dont know how to change my setting so that the page doesnt time out.Please could you help me thank you.
