I saw the post of CM9 RC1 being released today on the GTab Stable site, but the download links don't show a version for the GTab.  Am I just missing it, or does a non smb_a1002 version work on the GTab?

it may be some time till we receive cm9. a good idea would be to follow the supporters on twitter. not to distract or bother but to see where they are, with so many devices on the support list i wouldn't be supprised if they are working on other devices first to push updates for the greater populated devices.

I just wish it hadn't been posted on the GTab site until it was released for the GTab.

the thing is i think the mods and the posters are posting it universally. it's more easy than going to each post and posting about it over and over again.

Keeping my fingers crossed.  CM9 would definitely add some significant use life to my GTab.

There is a nearly stable AOSP-based kernel for the G-Tab and the build for it is fully usable. It doesn't have all the niceness of CM9, but does let us run a stable ICS build. I don't know if CM9 will ever get on the Gtab since Viewsonic won't release (build) drivers for the camera.

I can live without the measly camera if I could get the rest of ICS on my GTab.
