Hello,

I recently flashed 7.2 mod (upgraded from 7.1.0) and I can say that battery life has significantly decreased.

I haven't changed anything else, that I can think of. I used MyBackup Pro to restore apps from 7.1.0.

Anyone else experiencing something similar?

Here are the Stats for Battery Usage:
ANDROID SYSTEM........................ 31%
CELL STANDBY............................. 28%
PHONE IDLE .................................. 24%
VOICE CALLS ................................ 6%
DISPLAY ........................................ 6%
WI-FI .............................................. 3%

Thank you.

Did you only restore apps, or did you restore any system-related settings?

With RC3 my battery life was pulling 33 hours with average use. Now I'm lucky if I get 6 with the 7.2 stable. I switched to doing nothing but phone calls and texts on my phone and that only brought me up to 8 hours with luck.

And yet you don't mention what is using your battery? There are way too many possible culprits to drain your battery for us to guess which one is causing your problem.

Same here. Was running 7.1.0. Completely blanked the whole phone including SD card. Flashed Boot loader and then 7.2.0. Now my battery life has halved :(
Usage percentages look normal. I guess I'll go back to 7.1.0

it can depend sometimes of what apps pull data and are always running in background and i use the same cyanogenmod with darkside kernal and i run close to 36 hours with moderate use i always look for performance speed and of course battery saving abilitys i know from expierence that task killers do not help that much as well as alot of battery savers are not worth the time money or effort this is from personal expierence but some people may think differently all you can do is test some apps for yourself add a new kernal or just go back to 7.1.0 hope i helped

I was having similar battery issues but I was able to narrow it down to my battery itself which was almost 2 years old.  I replaced it and am getting awesome battery life again!  I also underclock when my screen shuts off using nofrills in the playstore.  Might be worth checking that or another cpu app out.

I'm using a new battery (with CPU underclocked with screen off) and am also experiencing decreased battery life on this rom (7.2 Stable) as well.  Nothing out of the ordinary when I go into my battery stats.  Not sure what to make of it, love the rom otherwise.
