Hi All,

I recently upgraded my wife's D2G to Cyanogen 7.2, and she's finding that any time the screen is off for a certain length of time (she estimates about 20 minutes), she gets signed out of google chat. I'm thinking that the phone must be going into some sort of power saving mode when it's asleep for extended periods, but I can't find any settings or any info on this.

Does anybody have a suggestion as to how we can keep this from happening? Thanks!

Is this on wifi? If so, you need to change the wifi sleep policy to never. Settings -> Wireless and Networks -> Wireless -> menu key -> Advanced -> Wifi Sleep Policy. (The names may not be exact as I don't have my CM7 device in front of me.)

No, this is on 3g. Thanks, though.
