First things first, I will probably upset someone, or someone will probably misinterpret something I say and get angry... QQ it happens, I meant nothing you could possibly interpret as offensive (statement excluded)

The above being said, I am... a Barebones nutcase...

For EVER Custom ROM I have EVER used (back even to WM6/6.5 days), I have always trimmed the "fat" off any ROM I use!

The switch over to ICS has me a little lost since the Barebones article hasn't been updated in quite a while*
Which brings me to my issue only slimy related to the Barebones article:

Removing Audio files I normally only leave Alarm_Classic and Alarm_Buzzer, these files are no longer present in the CM9 Nightly I downloaded, so it was easy to swap them out and delete the rest (yes I did listen to the new ones before I deleted them, no I have no interest in them).
However when it comes to Notifications I normally only leave the F1_MissedCall, F1_New_MMS and F1_New_SMS, now i went ahead and matched F1_Missed call with Canopus and F1_New_MMS with Sirrah, sadly though I haven't found a match for F1_New_SMS, am I to assume that its been nixed completely? While not big issue, I just want to post here making sure that if I delete/rename/replace the files that no major issues will result when I get ready to flash this CM9 Nightly...

Its possible my ramling is misunderstood so feel free to ask me to clairify!

*The last edit date says April 2012, but I did look at it in January for my last HeroC ROM and didnt see anything that looked different

Incase theres any question about what I say when i say I am a barebones nutcase: Not a developer at all, I just open files and delete crap I dont want, to that end, my HeroC rom done up yesterday comes in at 40Mb~ vs the downloaded weight of 70Mb~, and so far, my CM9 Nightly for the VZW-GTab comes in at 80Mb~ vs the downloaded weight of 135Mb~
