Unable To Fing Sd Card

Hello,

I am new to this but I have used linux before.

I installed CM7 on my gTablet and it works great. I can download apps, I added music and I can play it but ... when I am trying to add movies on the internal SD card (that mounts under emmc) and I use the MX player the player says "can't find SD card". I was able to play one movie of the external SD card but not of the USB thumbdrive. My guess is that the CM is mounting the partitions in a read only ways to protect the data.

Is there an easy way to be able to play movies directly from the internal SD card ?
Please let me know.
