Hello. I changed back to CM about 2 weeks ago and have been enjoying the CM9 Nightlies. The thing is that I use My Backup Pro to backup and restore, but I've been having a problem with my Android Home and Shortcuts.... they're not getting restored. Please if someone has any help on this issue I'd really appreciate it because it's very annoying to be restoring the shortcuts of 100+ apps every week.
Thanks in advance
(Please let it be a solution involving My Backup Pro. I really like it)

Why are you having to restore your apps every week? You only wipe the first install after that you just flash the update, you don't even have to wipe the dalvik cache as ROM Manager asks.

Yes. CM will never wipe your device when you upgrade, and it is not required for you to do it (unless you decide to load something other than CM9). Just make sure you make a nandroid backup... just in case.

You download the update to your phone and either use the built in ROM Manager or boot into recovery and do it through there. As bassmadrigal said doing a nandroid backup is always a good idea.

Thank you very much. I've been upgrading everytime by doing a previous wipe of the data. This will be much easier.
