Most UI widgets in CM7.2 have become blue since the last release (7.1). The statusbar used to display green-themed icons, and GUI-elements used to be orange-themed. I liked that. Now everything is blue-themed, which in some cases makes it harder to see. Especially the browser icon is gray-blue, which is a bad color combination.

How do I put it back to green-orange like in CM7.1 (without downgrading that is) ?

You might be able to extract the right theme from the 7.1 version, but I have no idea what that is. There are also a number of themes on the playstore that can completely change the color layout of your device. Just search CM7 themes.

I finally updated to CM7.2 (that reminds me, I should update my profile!) and had the same problem. After spending waaay too long trying to fix this, I think I stumbled across what changed.

Go into your app drawer and find the app called "Theme Chooser" and by default, CM7.2 has "Cyanbread" chosen. If you want exactly what you had for CM7.1, change it to "System."
