Skyrocket Nightlies Out -- How Do They Work?

I'm itching to try it, but I'm somewhat scared of going through all that just to have a phone without a working camera or something.

Camera/video works fine, both front and back.
GPS and compass are accurate and working smoothly.
WiFi and Bluetooth working fine.
Can't test LTE but 3G/HSPA working fine.
There IS an installation bug however. The cwm recovery for skyrocket won't load a cm9 for skyrocket. cwm has ro.product.device set to SGH-I727 but the cm9 install script looks for SGHI727 (without the dash) so the install fails with an assert error. You can get around this by installing the cwm recovery for hercules, then installing cm9-skyrocket.

I can confirm this as well. I flashed my skyrocket yesterday and with the current CWM touch it continuously failed. I ended up using the modified touch CWM from http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=1472954 and it worked great.

I did notice one small error. When trying to take a picture from inside messaging, I got a "failed to connect to camera" warning. A second attempt immediately after dismissing the error resulted in no problems.

Fixed in nightly 20120618. cwm 5.8.4.3-skyrocket will now flash cm9-skyrocket.

Edit: After reading further on XDA sounds like an easy fix of "palming" the screen or touching it with 5 fingers at once resets the screen sensor and resloves the issue. Haven't had a chance to try this yet....

I'm guessing these nightlies are based on the team chopsticks unofficial port of CM9 from the alpha 5 release. Can anyone conferm this?
Thanks again CM and possibly team chopsticks for all of your hard work!

EDIT: Straight from factory reset, with ODIN and CWM touch 5.8.1.3 (hercules) and the -20 build, it gets stuck in a boot loop. Christ.
EDIT EDIT: Did the same with -18 and -19. What should I do?
Sike! Forgot to both wipe data and cache. Works like a charm.

I have been using stock AT&T 2.3.6 till now.
The only issue I faced was regarding CWM. Initially, I had 5.0.2.6. Once I applied CM9, it went to a reboot loop as mrbopalop1 pointed out above. Installed CWM 5.8.1.3 and everything worked fine.
Thanks once again...
