Hello all,

I am new here, so I don't really know if this is the correct section to post my question. If it is not, please move this topic to the correct section.

So I have the CM 7.1 installed on my device. Everytime I install a new application, the application appears only in the main catalog and not on the home screen. I have to create a shortcut to home screen every time I install a new app.

My question is: How can I get a home-screen-shortcut automatically, everytime I install a new application?

Open the Play Store -> Menu -> Settings -> enable Auto-add widgets.

This is not a normal Android function and the feature was only added into recent versions of the playstore. I actually despise the feature since I would much rather have control over what apps and widgets I put on my homescreen. I certainly don't want every single app I install on there. But to each their own, and that is probably why google added the option.
