Hello,

I have problem after upgrade my HTC Desire to 7.2 stabil version.

After restarting the phone for a minute everything is ok but then the network disappears, it shows a lack of network. when you try to find the phone network still shows the search network.

I've just noticed that this happens after turning off, locking the phone screen.

Do any of you had this problem?
How to deal with it?

Regards from Poland
Acidmk

PS. When I returned to version 7.1 with backup everything works fine. It is known bug or...?

Same problem here WiFi network ok but Carrier network is only ok for a couple of minutes then goes off. Rebooting gets it back again but only for a minute or so. Also airplane mode can't be turned back on until a reboot is done.

I just tried a full wipe. But, unfortunately, still have the problem. After locking the screen is the phone offline.

Same here.
I bet this is due to a RIL related patch that was merged on June the 10th. That was quite a gamble so close to a release...
Well not to worry I'm sure a 7.2.0.1 for bravo will be out soon.

I once connected the phone to a computer and I've looked at the log of the phone exactly.
Unfortunately I can not post it here because I'm still under 50 Post: (
I'm going to go back to 7.1.

Same here too. After the screen goes off, phone disconnects from gsm network. Back to 7.1, hope this will get fixed :-)

I've got the same problem. Going back to RC3 until "stable" will be stable.

It's the same here unfortunately :-(

Could be something in the power-management, as the problem seems to come up after the energy-saver screen was entered once...

Same here.
After Screenlock the Network is gone and you have to reboot the Desire. (Clean install)

An the Statusbar for the network shows bad connection (0 or 1 bar / on RC3 its more) before the screen problem.

All I can do is echo everyones comments. I'm going back to 7.1 until this is fixed, although RC3 worked fine.

Same here. WiFi works, but I can't select a network (manually or automatically), an error keeps occuring.
Guess it's back to RC3

No problem on my HTC Desire. I'm no expert but perhaps it would help if you all provided some info: what country/network you're on, what version of hboot, any special par***ioning to get extra space for apps etc?  I've tried to reproduce your problem but it seems to be working fine.

@poldie
Country: Slovenia
Network: Mobitel
Hboot: 0.93.0001
No par***ioning.

Hurray for useless censorship ;)

*edit*
Just rolled back to RC3 and the network works fine.

Same problem, and, for some reason (perhaps apps having been moved to ext par***ion via s2e), restoring 7.1 from clockworkmod backup FUBAR'd the phone to the point where it was easier to do a factory reset and just reinstall everything :(

I'd just like to add how happy I am that this forum is using such advanced filtering software to prevent all the millions of children who I know follow Cyanogenmod forums from seeing any rude words...such as `partition` (and on another post earlier, `nightly builds`.

Edit: Also, I had to remove your smiley because the same state of the art software thought I was posting a link, for which I have to pay.  It just gets better and better!  But I can post the word `partition`.  So if anyone reading this wants to post those words, send me a PM and I'm do it for you... as long as you add smileys to my posts.  Deal?

@poldie
In the words of Michelle from Full House, "You got it, dude!" :)

So how does this work (I'm new to the Cyanomod community), is the bug going to get fixed ASAP and a new version uploaded (since not being able to make or receive calls is a pretty big bug) or will it be added to the list for the next version to be released sometime in the future?
