Has anyone done this? From all the directions I've seen, it requires a rooted Transformer. I can't root my TF201 because it's build version 9.4.2.21. It's already unlocked so I figured I'd give it a try. But, doesn't look like there's a way to install CM9 on this build at all.

once it is unlocked USB fastboot it  with a clockwork recovery image. you need to use adb to do this. To get to the bootloader dialogue hold the volume up button. There is an option for fastboot usb. plug your asusinto your pc, and select fastboot. Then follow the instructions for doing a clockwork fastboot over usb. There is a guide for windows, linux, and mac out there.

I did this by downgrading my Prime to 9.4.2.15 and then used SparkyRoot. After that installing CWM was a breeze with the Rom Manager.

Worked perfectly. Thanks! I take back my thread on why to install cm9 on TFP.. it's legit.
