Hi, I installed Cyanogenmod onto my Kindle fire with great success, though there is no built in way to update? If I put the latest build onto the Kindle, it will wipe all of my settings right, it won't simply upgrade?

Any tips please? (Backup settings, flash and re-import)

Running: CyanogenMod-7.2.0-RC0-blaze-KANG
Build number: GWK74
Kernel Version: 2.6.35.7+
Android Version: 2.3.7

No, it won't wipe anything. Just flash the new build right over the old one, and you don't need to wipe anything either (although, I recommend performing a nandroid backup... just in case something goes wrong).
