Sometimes when I receive pictures messages they show up as normal. Sometimes when I receive them they show up as a ~20 second video, the first half blank the second half the picture. This happened in RC1 also. Anyone else get this? Any way to fix it? Using stock messaging app.

Are the "videos" coming from a particular user? I wonder if it is some way that the user sends it. You could try and change the user-agent for the messaging app to something different. It as towards the bottom of the settings menu.

The "videos" are coming from one user who is on an iphone. The thing is though I get probably 75% of pictures fine from the user. Then just about 25% of them as "videos". All sent the same way. Will a different use-agent effect incoming messages?

I know with the Nexus One a lot of T-Mobile US users were getting extremely low-res pictures in their MMS unless they changed the user-agent. It is worth a shot.
