Hi, i recently updated my click from the original 1.5 android SO, to the amazing cyanogenmod 7.1.0.1. Before do this, i was able to see en the config menu an issue to configure (calibrate) the compass function incluided in this cellphone. However after do the instalation process to the cyanogen rom, i can't see this feature (the compass function). Do i really need this feature to use the sevices on my mobile? theres an option to get back this feature???

Try downloading a compass app from the market. On my N1, I calibrated it by moving the phone in a horizontal figure-8 pattern twice.

Thanks a lot! I just download the app you linked to me!!! The compass as is works very well! I'm still asking if the compas setting inside the android 1.5 version in the main menu is not needed to use it in other kind of app (like the google navigator, in example)

Oh, no, that setting does not exist as in the newer versions, the compass isn't as prone to getting uncalibrated. In the two years I've owned my N1, I have only calibrated the compass twice.
