I'm opening this thread in the hope of displaying the amount of interest in a custom ROM for the Samsung Galaxy Pocket.

I've seen much interest fragmented across different forums, but I think if we can focus our attention, we can show the devs that there is interest in this cheap, but well spec'd phone.

IU tried all methods I found in internet, but I don´t know how to repair it.

Always no space, cannot umount sd card... i cannot find odin version to flash it... any help
!!!!!!

P.S: i deleted some apps, from the stock version and phone and some other features does not work, I can get access, but basic functions

You can using Odin 1.85 to flash it. in Odin feature checklist on phone bootloader, f reset time n not check list repartition. now you can flash. I`m from Indonesia.

I tried odin 1.85, following your advice. down volume, power, enter to flash rom S5300DXLC6_S5300OLBLC4_XSE. but my phoen was bought in Hong KOng, so it is a different rom

press start in odin... and fail, below report?? any idea?? Thanks!!!

bootloader of this unit is lock.... im i right?....

cant install any rom or even the CWM not working...

well...i'm kindda bored with stock rom. btw flashing stock rom with Odin3v1.87.exe.  in download mode. pit S5300_coriemmc_0117.pit. for stock firmware on samfirmware.  just for info if  got stuck..hoping for CM mod..^^

I'd also like to request a CM for this mobile!
I don't understand much about porting custom roms, but MadTeam made a port of CM7 for Galaxy 5 which has an inferior hardware than Galaxy Pocket, so am I correct in assuming that it wouldn't be much of a trouble porting to it aswel? (did that sound rude? O.o)

I have one of these too, I have never looked into modding and I am more than willing to look into it.
Does anyone know where I can get some starter docs.

Basically what I am saying is I am willing to contribute to getting this mod done.
