I thank meteorrock for her response, but I know how to backup, I want to clone my card. I somehow damaged another card a few months ago that I had purchased trying to make changes. I loaded the cyanogen mod on another sd card using instructions from this forum. I want to clone the card and keep a backup in a safe location.

bro she told you what you asked her in your other thread here. http://forum.cyanoge...017#entry320017
You first make the card into a boot card then you can clone cyanogenMod on your nookie. Real easy.
The cyanogenmods wiki is on top of the page with all the info on how its done.

I believe you can clone by making a bit copy using the "dd" command in Linux or Mac terminal. If you have a Linux computer you can type "man dd" to get the manual entry, but if that is too hard to understand you can also just google search for that.
dd is also a handy way to write an iso to a thumb drive.

Win32diskimager is an open source program that can be used to write an image file to removable media, such as an SD card or USB drive. It can also be used to read an image file from the removable media, copying it to your hard drive. By moving an image file between the HD and SD cards, you can clone an SD card.
The interface is small and simple: file name, location, and two commands-read and write.
Use the write command to move an image file from your HD to an SD card.
Use the read command to move an image file from an SD card o your HD.
I recommend that you put the image file in its own folder on the HD. Give it a unique name for easy identification, and to make subsequent copies of newer image files.
The win32diskimager for Windows can be downloaded here:
