Hip hip hoora! Belgium and France two country that use AZERTY, that's because we want to be unique!

Before we start, if something goes wrong.. I don't know what to do, because I did it at the first try, and everything went well!
-----------

Download the two files (down below) and put them in C:/

Open a command center and make sure you can start ADB!

Typ "adb shell"

Typ "mount -rw -o remount /dev/block/mtdblock1 /system" (This is necessary, because it's possible you can't push the files because of an readonly error.)

Typ "exit"

Then you are back at C:/......

Now typ or copy the follow: "adb push c:/kbd_pp2106.kl /system/usr/keylayout"

"adb push c:/qwerty.kl /system/usr/keylayout"

"adb push c:/kbd_pp2106.kcm.bin /system/usr/keychars"

Restart the phone.. And tada.. your hardware keyboard is azerty!

-----------------

http://www.crocko.co...F517/AZERTY.rar (azerty, only download these)

http://www.crocko.co...9112/QWERTY.rar (orginal files, just in case you screw it up)

EDIT: I fixed the */# and 7/1 bug. So if you press FN up and Z you get a 1 instead of a 7!

I discovered a few mistakes.. If you press for 1, you get a 7. If you press for # you get a *  and vica versa.. I'll try to edit this tonight or tomorrow.

edit: I didn't find anything to change this.. Seems like this is software issue, that I can't fix.. If I'll find anything, I'll let you guys know!

EDIT2: I have a sollution! I edited the first post :)

Thanks , works great :-)
Only the "enter" button doesn't work on my keyboard , but evrything else works perfect (as far as i tested it)
Much better than a qwerty keyboard , hopefully you also get a solution for the enter button ?  But as i said before , a big improvement , now we can type normally.

Great job ;-)

Strange, I don't have problems with the enter key.. Is it when you send messages or using the browser?

It's when sending a message .
I thought that when i was typing a message and push "enter" button , you could skip a line .

This was with the original software , after installing cyanogen that doesn't work anymore .
Now when i push "enter" the message will be send , instead of skipping a line .
but this was also so for the QWERTY keyboard , so it's not the fault of your great solution to make it azerty  :-)

So the button does work , but it's different .

Maybe i'm wrong , but i really thought that with the original software, the "enter" button was for skipping a line ????
Correct me if i'm wrong  ;-)

When I press enter when sending a message, the message is send.. I don't know of the orginal software (only worked with for a day).

When using Twitter or other apps the enter button starts a new line.

Must be an error in the cyanogenmod, cause I saw that custom roms (from the cyanogenmod) all have changes with the enter key.

Or we have to wait till cyanogenmod comes with a new RC and with a fix for itOr someone has to make a custom rom for LG C660. (I'm interessed to do this, but I'll have to do a lot of research first

EDIT: Well, it ain't that hard to change.. Go to your Messages -> Settings. Then scroll down to Extra Settings. The disable the first settings (send on enter). Then when pressing enter, you should get a new line ;)
