hi, i've been looking for this kinda problem here on forums but didn't find anything usefull, so ill just ask here:

so the problem is, when i connect my Optimus to any computer or other device via USB, i can't use it as mass storage device. phone connects normally, but its just not working. tried usb debug, use as mass storage only, etc... but nothing works... any ideas? (if i cwm the backup of the original V20n rom or CM9 it works normally)

When you install CM7, what were you running prior to that, and did you perform a wipe (this includes MANUALLY wiping the /system partition from within recovery)?

i also had this problem from time to time. I should boot from recovery mode and manually mount the sd card.
