There is a common problem since the early nightly releases up to the new RC2. Sometimes when doing phone calls, the speaker is EXTREMELY lound even on the lowest setting (setting volume when in phone calls works, but the options must be adjusted). Am I the only one experiencing this? I did a _full_ clear before applying RC2, but it seems there is no connection between the problem (I tried almos all of the released nightlies and RCs, sometimes I just clear dalvik vm cache, sometimes full clear).
Anyways the ROM is great. Actually I have no other option. :) Factory FW was a slow piece of sh*t, I don't like amateur builds, so CM is my only choice. Keep on the good work guys!

It's fixed now! Not sure which RC or nightly resolved, but now works very well. I'd suggest everyone having the same problem to flash (in this order):
- update-cm-7.2.0-RC3-p500-signed.zip
- update-cm-7-20120527-NIGHTLY-p500-signed.zip
- update-cm-7-20120603-NIGHTLY-p500-signed.zip

Anyway, I think recent nightlies works like a charm.

Hi,

I just installed CM 7.2.0 stable (2012-06-16) - but lowest setting of in-call volume is still too loud..

Please tell me...

Why is it so difficult for programmers to provide lower volume-levels during a call?

Isn´t there a file for configuring volume-levels?
Why the audio-driver simply can´t supply lower voltage to the internal-speaker?

My ears really don´t like these high volumes during a phone call...

Thanks, procx

messy workaround for normal in-call volume level after reboot....

- make phone call
- switch volume to max.
- switch volume to min.
- now it´s ok until you reboot your phone again...
