I noticed with RC1 and the new released RC2 that the LED does not blink the correct color when receiving a notification.  It use to blink green when receicing something like a text or email.  But when using 7.2 R2 it blinks orange as if the battery were dying.

I flashed from 7.1 to 7.2 RC2 just few days ago and noticed the same.

They may be hard coded in your stock install, but they are not in CM (at least, not that I am aware). If the app doesn't support setting the LED color, go to Settings -> CM Settings -> Interface -> LED Notifications -> Unconfigured -> Your App and configure to your hearts content. I believe the colors are assigned in the order they are used in the system, so any app that hasn't blinked yet, won't have an entry.

is this setting is only available in 7.2 ? because I cant find it in 7.1 .

Also, is the bug ( where on low battery LED blinks green instead of red)  fixed in 7.2??

Thanks.

No, that setting has been there for quite a while. It might even be pre-CM7. Which of those options doesn't exist?

In the Interface Menu, I don't see the LED notifications option

The G2/Desire Z has never has this menu as far as I know. It's my belief that as the code gets updated for the rest of the phones out there, the quirkiness of our phone is forgotten. Our LED supports 3 colours: Red, Green, and Amber/Orange. And the Amber/Orange colour is just the Red & Green on at the same time. Luckily the developer of the ILWT kernel has noticed this as well and put a fix in his latest release. Install that kernel and you should be good to go.
