I loaded the 5/7 nightly and have noticed no issues so far. I am quite jazzed that Ad-Hoc tethering is now enabled on my TP. I fired up my Nokia and JoikuSpot and without any encryption and my TP found it and connected in a few seconds. However with any encryption the TP just sits there with the message "getting IP address" and never connects. My laptop and desktops have no problem connecting with encryption. I have tried 128/64 bit; hex and 5 character passwords and nothing seems to help. Has anyone tried adhoc tethering yet? As a stopgap I decreased my wifi output on my phone from 100mw to 4mw so if anyone tries to connect to my phone while it is open they would have to be almost on top of me. I would like to get the encryption to work for better security.
