My touchpad seems to be getting more and more strange bugs. Most times a reset sorts them out.
I have installed the CyanogenMod and am wondering if that is the root cause?
Issues I've seen:
I leave the TPad on a touchstone to display pictures, sometimes it displays black squares and not pictures.
At one point it showed all pics as tiny squares. I deleted and re-created my photobucket account which seemed to fix this.
Email seems to completely fail, email cannot be read or sent
Wifi seems to drop every now and then, but come back almost straight away
Preferences for accounts has hung up when trying to trouble shoot issues.
Just type failed to search and typing into a web page also failed to search
The touchstone is on a charger, so it is displaying photos when I get down to breakfast. Sometimes it has started the slideshow but it paused and I have to tap play to get it working
In all cases a restart seems to fix the issue, but I definetely didn't need to restart this often prior to installing cm9.
Thanks for any thoughts,
regards,
Greg

Did you wipe both the /system partition and perform a Factory Reset/Data Wipe when you moved from CM7 to CM9? Upgrading is not supported.

Nope because I didn't upgrade from CM7 to CM9, I have only ever installed CM9. This has got worse over time, it's not a one off event.

What email client/provider are you using?
The Wi-Fi problem is well known, there are some supposed fixes but it varies from person to person.
Account preferences? Such as a Google account?
I don't understand the type failed to search bit, do you mean you can't use google search in a browser?

These are all errors I see running WebOS, not CM9. It's the stock email app with gmail. Type to search is a feature of webos.
What I am wondering is if CM9 could actually affect the WebOS instance, or wether they are completely seperate?
Cheers,
Greg

You used ACMEInstaller2 instead of the old ACMEInstaller, right?
The two OSs are pretty much separate, other than sharing /boot. I suppose the CM9 installation could have messed up the webOS filesystem when it resized the partitions, but I doubt it.
Your internal storage might be going bad. If it were my tablet, I'd use ACMEUninstaller to remove CM9, then run webOS Doctor to re-install webOS, then see if the problem continues. If so, it's probably a hardware failure.
