Hi,
I'v just updated from build "update-cm-9-20120408-NIGHTLY-galaxysmtd-signed"  to build "update-cm-9-20120503-NIGHTLY-galaxysmtd-signed"  and im missing the "Tick" sound (the one you hear when clicking on icons and settings - "Effect_Tick.ogg").
There is a sound but is very low and i cannot get it up even with different  audio managers, In build 20120408 there was a sound that you can hear.
I'v compared to two Ticking sounds from both builds and both originally have to same volume, so the sounds are right,
Does anyone knows how to increase volume for the "Tick" sound ? (system sound right now is on max)
G.

Upgraded to CM9 on Friday and you're right it is very low. For me that's fine as I tend to disable sounds like that. Have you tried replacing it with a different  tick sound file?

Hi,
I'v extracted the tick sound from "update-cm-9-20120408-NIGHTLY-galaxysmtd-signed" & placed it in my current Build with Root Explorer, worked just fine !
the "tick sound" in "update-cm-9-20120503-NIGHTLY-galaxysmtd-signed" was too low.

"Tick sound" disappears after I unplug the headphones after using Spirit FM? Audio on Power Amp and VLC too.
Any solution???

Try audio manager app. Happened to me also. This app shows the system volume. It was 0. An annoying bug. CM / android doesn't show this volume in settings for some reason.

For me, a sound system (touch) is very quiet, and the sound of keystrokes can podgłośnić QWERTY keyboard in the settings.
How to improve the sound system (touching) the Stable CM9 Samsung Galaxy Tab?

You can somehow replace files like so, where and how?
