Hey guys this is my first post as a Cyanogenmod member...But I've been using CM7 for the longest. I recently loaded CM9 on my Captivate and can no longer access the Amazon Appstore. I have several phones in the family and it works fine on the CM7 Rom, but on each phone that I update to CM9 it doesn't allow me to log in. It says "Please enter a valid email and password" when attempting to log in. I know my login is correct because I can access it with my PC..and like I said every phone that I upgrade to CM9 from CM7 has this issue...is this a known issue. I tried to find issues on the forums to prevent repetitive questions like this but I couldn't find anything. I appreciate any help or advice that comes my way.

Does your password include special characters? Some of the special characters are different in different keyboard modes. For example, the single quote mark (') in ABC mode is different from that in symbol mode of the keyboard.

I have the same issue on my Xoom. I wonder if Amazon is blocking it??? If so, not a big deal. I can't remember the last time the FAOTD was anything worth downloading.

Just for your info, I upgraded to CM9 yesterday, upgraded Gapps and had no problem accessing my Google Play Store account. Paid to upgrade ROM Manager to premium and loaded Google Apps ver. 20120304 ICS. Hope this works.
