Hey CyanogenMod community!!!

I love CM7 gingerbread, just tried a beta CM9 for my phone(HTC HD2) and LOVED it, however, i miss only two features from CM7 which arent in CM9, i miss the lockscreen gestures, and the ability to keep the status bar viewable during a full screen app. like when watching youtube, i could still tel what time it was and view my notifications :) i loved that. if that gets ported to CM9 i will forever switch :))

CM9 is still very much a work in progress. There are a lot of plans to incorporate features that were in previous versions into CM9. It just takes time.

Unfortunately, I am not doing any thing with that. I am not a programmer (apparently, I just don't have the brains for it). I just try to help people out with their issues in the forums. But I agree, the devs are amazing.

Definitely not. As I said above, I am not a programmer. Coding is beyond my capabilities.

Sweetness i can reply finally xD

But thanks for your post! I cant wait for a final CM9 to be released with all the wonderful tweaks found in CM7. I feel once CM9 is out it will far surpass AOKP. :D Great work everyone!

Hi, in each nightly I replace the stock CM9 music app with one from here:

Could you confirm if it's official? I'd be quite heartbroken if it isn't :P

Unfortunately, I can't confirm anything, because I don't know. But if I remember correctly, the plan was to include it and also offer it on the Play Store.

I agree!  Both of those features were awesome, and lockscreen gestures in particular is the only feature keeping me on CM7.

There is now a feature request on Google Code for lockscreen gestures on CM9: http://code.google.c.../detail?id=5564

Sign in and "star" the issue to be notified of changes

Thanks a bunch! I acutally dont need the gestures anymore xD now that i noticed you can still slide down the notification bar, and selecth the power widgets, i can turn on my flashlight from there xD and adjust my brightness too by sliding across the status bar :D i just really really really wish i had the disable fullscreen tweak -.-

I agree, however i could live without it :/ i wonder if they are going to quit development on CM9 now that CM10 is out.
