Hello,

i have CM 7.2.0 RC1 on my Tattoo. I wonder if it is possible to wake up with music instead of the crazy ring tones...

I know, it is possible to start the music app as a result of the alarm, but the alarm just starts the app but not playing music... Did I miss something?

If not, this would be a great feature ;-)

Thank you!

There is not a way to select music with the stock app directly. But, you can use an app like RingDroid to make certain music selectable as a ringtone. You can also save music in an alarm folder on your sdcard which will make it selectable. Another option would be to replace the alarm app with a 3rd-party one from the Play Store.

In fact it's possible to use the stock alarm application with musics of your own.
You only have to create a folder called alarms on the root of your sd and paste there the musics you want.
They will be in the ring alarm list after you reboot your device.
