Hi, i'm using 7.1.0 stable version and every-time i try to uncheck the box "Use 2g networks only. saves battery", the box doesnot uncheck and i get a reboot. Sometimes it's two reboots in a row and then my wallpaper changes. Sometimes i get more random rebootloops, then usually only battery in/out method works...

Thanks for any information regarding these issues.

I've never heard of this problem before, but some general things that usually resolve issues...

First, wipe your system partition in recovery and reinstall CM and gapps. This doesn't cause any data loss.

Second, perform a Factory Reset/Data Wipe. You can back up your apps and app data with a program like Titanium Backup, but don't restore any system-related settings as it could bring your problem right back.

Third, there is a new release candidate for 7.2. Try upgrading to that and see if the problem is resolved.

Hi,
I have quite the same problem here, i checked 2g only since i was in a foreigner country. I switched off the phone and now it can't stop rebooting even without sim card or sd card !
I tried to  reinstall CM7, tried another mod, but nothing to do, it still reboot a few seconds after booting (before it's completely loaded).
If anyone has a solution, i can't use my DZ anymore..!
is there anyway to erase every-everything and to restart installation from scratch ? (this is the only solution i can see)

Thx in advance !

EDIT : I've read that it is linked to the radio, how can i change it ?
EDIT2 : Ok, back home i tried the latest radio from : http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=1335127 but still the same problem, still rebooting after a few seconds (i just have time to select "use wifi connection".  I reinstalled the whole thing ...

hey guys, this seems to be a major problem, I've had the same one. went to a foreign country and when I came back, there was this huge update to gingerbread, I think. afterwards as soon as I connected to 3g, I got a reboot. I tried a full wipe, but it didn't help. I tried another wipe and didn't sync with my google account so it wouldn't install any custom applications, but it didn't help. I downgraded to froyo and rooted my desire Z, and it helped. just wanted to install cyanogenmod as I saw this thread, so this seems to be a problem of gingerbread, not of cyanogenmod, but maybe you guys can fix it somehow before you release a new RC? so for now, I'll just continue using froyo until someone tells me you found and eliminated the cause.

in my case it seemed to be a different problem: "the plane mode DIRECTLY causes a reboot" -> it didn't, actually activating plane mode directly after reboot prevented my device from restarting a few seconds later.
