It seems that on this nightly version of CM9, the Market search tool makes the phone freeze. The only way to revive it is removing the battery. It also freezes in the same way when trying to search on Zedge. Though the browser and the search tool work fine. I am trying to install another keyboard, i have the feeling that it might solve the issue on the spot.

Android 4.0 is great... But  GSM still not working in Kazakhstan since very first cm7 nightly....

Everything works great! Except the front facing camera!
Bai , cand vi se blocheaza telefonu nu mai scoateti bateria , cititi naibi si voi cartea aia de instructiuni care a venit in cutia telefonului!
Tineti apasat 10 sec pe butonu de pornit telefonu si isi da restart automat!
Edit: my phone also freezes when tryng to search on market! but the auto dim brightness after 30 sec works so it seems that the phone is not freezed but the app ? hmm....

BTW wasn't the ICS OS suppose to come with 3.0 kernel?

guys everything works fine in ics but it has automatically set my sim pin?? how do i unlock it??? please help i'm not able to use my internet

Freeze when tryng to search on market fix:
System setings ->  language& input ->android keyboard settings (the settings icon in right of the text) ->advanced settings -> uncheck all 3 boxes!

now it works perfect
Oh , and also disable all auto correct and sugestions settings ...

My guess is that you're using bad gapps packages. Neither me nor any of the people I've asked to test this had that kind of problem, so I suggest you install one of the ICS versions suggested by ROM Manager instead of random crap from unknown origins.

If it had any known major bugs, it wouldn't be getting CM builds.

So, there's a problem with the play store search. If i try so search something, the phone freezes.
I had the first nightly with gapps-ics-20120317-signed.I unchecked everything in language& input ->android keyboard settings ->advanced settings. After that, i updated to the second nightly with wipe cache and dalvik. Nothing happened. After that, i flashed  gapps-ics-20120304-signed.zip ( this is one which ROM Manager suggested ). Not a single change.
There are at least another 3 users with the same problem.
@arcee, do you have any other suggestion?

LE: It still freezes with gapps-ics-20120422-signed.zip

I get the roms only from www.get.cm
I dont use rom manager because i change the phone name from build.prop and i dont want any updates for other phone model.
And i also delete some apps from the archive before flashing
Anyway ... the point is that i fixed that fc on market , god knows how !) And now everything is OK.

lol good for you stan do you have video and front cam inverting issue??? coz i got :\
and phone have sleep of death problem... sometimes it freeze or restarts after screen wakeup
